On the occasion of the British Council’s oldest oversees office turning 80 years old, this research exhibition featured over 20 custom constructed elements consisting of vividly printed vinyl stretched onto wooden frames. These installations could be hung flush with the wall but also featured a mechanism where they could be shown standing freely in space. These elements were used during celebratory events both indoors and outdoors at at two venues. Existing elements in the venue were remade into light boxes to showcase original photographs from the British Council’s archive.
