This project was the second stop for the traveling exhibition of work by David Degner. It consisted of photographs printed on large vinyl canvases and others mounted into light boxes in two sizes. The space itself was on the top floor, roof area and stairwell of a Neoclassical building belonging to the Greek community in Egypt and housing the Greek Cultural Center in Alexandria. Technically, each wall had to be assessed separately and the space also required rewiring and custom lighting. The delicate artworks received a carefully orchestrated transportation from Cairo to Alexandria. Modern Miracles drew an interested audience on its opening night and held a consistent stream of visitors throughout its run.
